Fa. Koller Erdbau – U1 2014 Extension Neulaa

Allround was the right decision for the channel laying at the construction site for the U1 extension Neulaa. At depths of up to 7 meters, S-curves with very narrow radii (10m) and the high spring rigidity of the ground were a few challenges of the project. Allround Giant Sliding System turned out to be a perfect partner, since no commercial plastering or sheet piling or planking could be used and was much more cost-efficient than a special flooring solution. The required clearance height from above to the first cross bracing for the egg profile of the channel could be installed with Allround in the best way possible. A further advantage of the project is the use in concreting, since Allround has flat inner and outer surfaces and can be concreted without any problems.

Allround mastered challenges.

The S-curves with the narrow radii of 10m required the use of single blocks, which was a particular difficulty. It was necessary to install the structure in individual sections and not contiguous. Allround handled this in best manner. The resulting gaps could also be filled and secured. Of course, the high pre-requisite for installation is also important in this high-spec project, and good and experienced personnel, especially the excavator operator, is a prerequisite.
